About Us
Our Professional Mediation Team
The Mediation Center was established in 1995. Each mediator has extensive training in mediation and conflict resolution. Collectively, this group has backgrounds in social work, law, psychotherapy, education and organizational development. We are members of the national Association for Conflict Resolution (ACR) and New Hampshire Conflict Resolution Association (NHCRA).

Peggy Brown, M.Ed, CMM
Peggy is a New Hampshire certified marital mediator and former board member of the New Hampshire Mediators Association. She has degrees in anthropology and counseling, with advanced training in marital and family mediation.
Peggy is a former Outward Bound instructor, classroom teacher and school counselor. Peggy also provides training in conflict management, facilitation and team development to businesses, schools and human service organizations.

Richard Dufresne, MSW
Richard is a licensed clinical social worker and psychotherapist. He has been providing Employee Assistance Programs, workplace mediation and team development programs to schools, hospitals and industry since 1986.
Rich is a former teacher and has worked with emotionally challenged students on high school and middle school levels.

Susan Howard, Esq.
Susan is an attorney. She began her law career in 1981 as a State and Federal Prosecutor. For the past 18 years she has been in private practice concentrating in divorce and family law, both as a mediator and an attorney. |
